About Good Plates

Good Plates was born from a simple love of cooking for the people around me — homemade, comforting meals I’ve always made for family and friends. Over time, I found myself cooking extra portions, delivering dinners to neighbours, and realising just how many people wished they had access to real, home-cooked food without the stress of preparing it.

I also noticed something missing in our area:
freshly cooked meals that were safely frozen and delivered to your door.
Not mass-produced ready meals… but proper, flavourful, family-style, dishes, cooked from scratch and made with care.

So, I started Good Plates.

Every week, I cook small-batch meals, freeze them for maximum freshness and safety, and deliver them across Thanet every Friday — giving busy families, tired parents, and anyone who needs a break an easy way to enjoy real food at home.

As word spread, Good Plates grew into something more.
Now, you’ll also find us at Margate FC home matches, serving hot, hearty meals to fans and families on match days — bringing that same comforting, homemade feeling to the stands.

Good Plates continues to grow, but the heart of it stays the same:
Real food, cooked with care, shared with our community.

I cook everything fresh, let it cool safely, and then freeze it straight away — locking in flavour, nutrients, and quality.
